Often, whānau don't have the right tools to support loved ones living with metal health challenges, as well as needing to care for their own wellbeing. So, our Family and Whānau Support service walks alongside whānau to identify strategies that will work for them.

Our Family and Whānau Support service provides:

  • education on how to best care for and support a loved one with mental illness or mental health challenges
  • information/education for whānau to gain a better understanding of mental illness, and the services and supports available
  • advocacy to empower whānau to confidently navigate mental health services
  • help with connecting whānau to other services or support groups.
